Toastmasters Club
Magandang araw Kaibigan!

Mabuhay! Tuloy po kayo sa aming Club!

The Alabang Community Toastmasters Club (The ACT Club) is a local chapter of Toastmasters International with Club Number 695753 under Area 73 of Division H in the Philippines (District 75). The friendly members are composed of students, teachers, trainers, engineers, call center agents, sales representatives, doctors, entrepreneurs, (or just about anyone!) from different businesses and industries.

Toasmasters International is a non-profit organization which gives its members the opportunity to develop and improve their public speaking abilities through local club meetings, training seminars and speech contests. Toastmasters International includes more than 200,000 men and women in more than 10,000 clubs in 80 countries.

Toastmasters will give you the skills and confidence you need to effectively express yourself in ANY situation. Whether you’re a sales agent interviewing prospects or a professional delivering presentations, Toastmasters can help you do it better. You’ll learn and practice in a friendly, comfortable environment with people who are there for the same reason you are – to become better English communicators.

“Learning by doing” Aristotle once said, “What we have to learn to do, we learn by doing.” At Toastmasters, members learn by speaking to groups and working with others in a supportive environment. A typical Toastmasters club is made up of 12 to 24 people who meet twice a month for about one and half hours. Each meeting at the ACT Club gives everyone an opportunity to practice conducting meetings, giving impromptu speeches, presenting prepared speeches, and offering constructive evaluation.  For a preview of our club events, see our club blog at http://theactclub.blogspot.com.

We meet at the second floor of the Jollibee Restaurant at Northgate Cyberzone, Alabang, Muntinlupa City. It is right across the APAC Call Center and near establishments like McDonald’s, 7-11 and Starbucks. For more information and to view the location map, click on the Directions link in the Main Menu at the left column of this page.

Our meetings are held on the 2nd and 3rd Thursdays of the month. Meetings start at 6:30 pm so be sure to come on time. Our meetings usually end between 8:30 to 9:00 pm. To view our calendar of meetings, click on the Club Calendar link in the Main Menu at the left column of this page.

Since 1924, Toastmasters International has helped millions of men and women become more confident in front of an audience. Our network of clubs and their learn-by-doing program are sure to help you become a better speaker and leader. Why pay thousands of dollars for a seminar when you can join a Toastmasters club for a fraction of the cost and have fun in the process?

You won’t regret it. For membership meeting information, please see our membership information page.
